			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>While treating a patient with a chronic shoulder problem, the feeling “repulsive” came up. I explained how a memory had likely been stirred up of some repulsive thing that had happened to her in her life, and that she needed to let go of that to get well.</p>
<p>She pondered on that for a few moments, and then said,<strong><em>“I <span style="text-decoration: underline;">AM</span> repulsive!”  </em></strong></p>
<p>Within a few seconds, her shoulder was in terrible pain, we had to stop the treatment, and she had to sit up. She said she felt like a huge cold brick had been laid on her chest, and she couldn’t breathe. It took us a few days to get her straightened up after that.</p>
<p>When this patient said,<strong><em>“I <span style="text-decoration: underline;">AM</span> repulsive”, </em></strong>something happened within her. She brought back an old belief system, and physically reacted to it.</p>
<h3><strong>The Positive &#8220;I AMs&#8230;&#8221; Are Powerful Too!</strong></h3>
<p><em><strong>&#8220;I AM &#8230;..&#8221;</strong></em> is more belief than fact. It is a way we have been programmed to respond. The above patient was literally not repulsive. In order to heal of her shoulder problem she had to change that belief.</p>
<p><em>&#8220;I am repulsive&#8221;</em> or <em>&#8220;I am beautiful&#8221;</em> is really a choice, once we are old enough to know the difference. The one we choose is the one we believe, and then the body responds accordingly.</p>
<p>This time of year is a good time to practice the <em><strong>Postive</strong></em> <em><strong>&#8220;I AMs&#8230;.&#8221; Make a list of 10 </strong></em><strong><em>Postive</em> <em>&#8220;I AMs&#8230;.&#8221;</em></strong><em> and repeat them to yourself throughout the Christmas season. It can literally have a profound effect on your health. </em><br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are 3 steps to heal yourself from asthma. As always, you must  address the causes &#8211; whether they be physical, nutritional, or  emotional.</p>
<p><strong>1. Physical Cause</strong><br />
Lungs need to be exercised just like muscles. So a regular brisk walk or  other exercise is beneficial. If your breathing becomes worse with  exercise, then you need to deal with nutritional and/or emotional  causes.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>2. Nutritional Cause</strong><br />
There are 2 important nutritional causes. First is mucous forming  foods. Dairy products are the worst. Meat and even breads can do the  same, though they are usually not as bad.</p>
<p>Second is pop, tea, and coffee. These are very acidic. One way the body  gets rid of acid is through the lungs. Too much of these beverages  stresses the lungs. A young man I know went from the 6th place runner on  his cross country team to the 2nd place runner by quitting pop. He was  just able to breathe better.</p>
<p>The nutritional solution is to eat many more fruits, vegetables and other whole foods and drink water as a beverage.</p>
<p><strong>3. Emotional Cause</strong><br />
Fear and stress can settle in the lungs. If asthma came on suddenly at  some point in one&#8217;s life, then stress is a likely cause. I have had  several patients who developed asthma after the death of a loved one. If  it came on gradually, then the cause is more likely nutritional.</p>
<p>The emotional solution is to let go of stress and forgive the source of  bad memories. You need to get in the Safe Box I talk about in <a href="../"><em>The Safe Box of Health &#8211; 3 Steps to Heal Yourself.</em></a></p>
<p>If you work on the CAUSE, you can heal yourself of asthma and other breathing problems!</p>

<p><strong>3. Stress</strong> &#8211; emotions can settle in the joints.  Feelings of being &#8220;eaten up&#8221; about something or &#8220;not being good enough&#8221;  can eventually manifest as joint pain.</p>
<p>The solution lies in letting go, forgiving others and forgiving and loving yourself.</p>
<p><em>You can </em><em>usually h</em><em>eal yourself</em><em> of joint pain</em><em> when you understand the cause.</em></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Do you deal with heartburn after a meal?</p>
<p>Often the problem is insufficient stomach acid rather than an excess.  Here is a simple test to help you decide. When you have heartburn, do  this:</p>
<p><strong>1.  Eat celery.</strong> The alkaline juices of the celery will  neutralize excess stomach acid and give relief, if excess acid is the  problem. If it is a deficiency of acid you won’t get much relief.</p>
<p><strong>2. Eat a dill pickle.</strong> The acid from the vinegar in the  pickle will increase stomach acidity and give relief if a deficiency of  acid is the problem. If it is an excess of acid, there won&#8217;t be much  relief.</p>
<p>Most of the time, it is a deficiency of stomach acid that is the  problem. A teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar in 8 ounces of water taken  with a meal can help.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t like Apple Cider Vinegar, a good supplement to take is <a href="http://drwilde.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1346c761e72eb212727f73f83&amp;id=d3c47effdb&amp;e=e0dd753b74" target="_blank">Super Digest.</a> It has acid in it, along with digestive enzymes. Just take 2 with a  meal. We have seen many patients be able to get off over the counter and  prescription antacids with Super Digest.</p>
<p>NOTE:  Be aware that worry, anxiety and other stressful emotions can also  contribute to heart burn. You should only eat when you are calm and  relaxed.</p>
